After working for several fish importers and retailers, he launched Dave’s Rare Aquarium Fish in 2006, specializing in African cichlids. A founding member of the Hill Country Cichlid Club and now serving his fourth term on the board of the American Cichlid Association, Dave is a respected voice in the cichlid community, known for his expertise, dedication, and advocacy for responsible fishkeeping.
