🐟 Bluegrass Bash – Refunds, Terms & Conditions
Event Overview
Bluegrass Bash is a multi-organization aquarium convention hosting shows for Cichlids, Livebearers, and Bettas, along with arts, crafts, and vendor exhibits.
Hosted in partnership with the American Cichlid Association (ACA), American Livebearer Association (ALA), and Oklahoma Betta Breeders Association (OBBA).
Dates: June 25–28, 2026
Location: Clarion Hotel Conference Center North, Lexington, KY
Entry Rules

The fish shows are open to all paid Bluegrass Bash registrants.

Each show may have separate entry fees and limits:

Cichlid Show: $10 per entry, up to 3 entries per person.

Livebearer Show: $3 per fish.

Betta Show: $3 per single entry or $5 per pair.

Entries must be set up and removed within the show’s posted schedule.

Tanks and basic equipment will be provided unless otherwise noted.

The Show Committee’s decisions are final.

Exhibitors must comply with U.S. and Kentucky wildlife laws, including the Lacey Act and Endangered Species Act. No prohibited or illegal species will be accepted.
Liability
By registering or entering any fish, you agree that:

Neither Bluegrass Bash, its host organizations, nor the Clarion Hotel are responsible for loss, damage, or injury to fish, property, or persons before, during, or after the event.

Exhibitors are responsible for the care and handling of their entries and equipment.

Any unclaimed items after the posted removal deadline become the property of the hosting organization.
Refund Policy

Registration Fees: Non-refundable but transferable up to June 1, 2026 with written notice.

Show Entry Fees: Refunds available only if the event or specific show category is canceled.

Vendor or Sponsorship Fees: Non-refundable once payment has been processed unless the event is fully canceled.

Hotel Reservations: Subject to the Clarion Hotel’s own cancellation policy.
To request a refund or transfer, email rusty@wesselinsurance.com before June 1, 2026.
Shipping & Handling

Mail-in entries must arrive by June 24, 2026, at the Clarion Hotel.

Do not label boxes “Live Fish.” Use USPS for best handling.

Include return postage, labels, and any packing materials if fish are to be returned.

Return shipping costs cannot be deducted from auction proceeds.
Conduct & Disqualification

Tampering with another exhibitor’s tank or fish is prohibited.
-
Early setup or removal without permission may result in disqualification.
-
GloFish® and other genetically modified or restricted species are not permitted.
-
The Show Committee reserves the right to reclassify entries or deny participation for noncompliance.
