There will be a limited amount of rare CARES FISH available for pick up at the convention for the first 24 participants at a nominal fee of $10.00 (Limit one per registration).  Available only to paid registrants of the Bluegrass Bash Convention!  Selection of the fish will be available at the convention. If anyone has a CARES fish from a previous convention and has fry available, please contact either Craig Storms or Mike McKinney.

Participants will fill out this online registration, and at the convention, you will be handed a tablet to register your CARES fish.

Thank you for your commitment to cichlid conservation! By signing below, you pledge to maintain for as long as possible, and make every effort to breed, the above-referenced species and any offspring. If you are no longer willing or able to maintain the fish, you will offer them back to CARES or a designated CARES representative. You will also offer back to CARES any offspring you choose not to keep.

CARES will coordinate our efforts to conserve these threatened species in the hobby with the local club’s Breeder Award Program. When and if the fish spawn, please contact your local CARES representative for suggestions on how to comply with this Pledge and still receive your BAP points.

We look forward to assisting you in any way going forward. Please keep the attached species husbandry directions so you can ensure success with your new cichlids.

Participants will report to the Cares Booth in the Vendors room to be assigned a particular fish.  First-come first serve on picking your choice of fish.
